Ifunanya is a medical doctor and health informatician, whose online brand name is Dr. STM. She graduated as the best student of her set in her medical school, and she got her master’s degree in health informatics, from the prestigious Swansea University.
She is the founder of Novaros Care, a consultancy that helps healthcare professionals and organisations with data management, project management, and research solutions and she convenes the Life Beyond School career mentoring program for young promising Nigerian women.
She is passionate about providing sustainable solutions for mental health, women’s health and wellbeing, human capital development and community building and loves seeing women excel and break boundaries in their fields, hence you’d commonly see her involved in social projects that promote gender equity.

Ifunanya is a medical doctor, a health informatician, an internationally certified project manager, and a data analyst, whose online brand name is Dr. STM.
She acquired her medical degree in 2016 from Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, where she graduated as the best in her class and equally bagged several reputable awards.
She also has several certifications in public health, data management, and project management from reputable international bodies, including the University of Washington, the West African Institute of Public Health, and the Project Management Institute.
She acquired her master’s degree in health informatics from the prestigious Swansea University, United Kingdom. She has equally authored and co-authored 5 scientific journal publications and 3 conference papers.
She believes that the world, just like our body, is a coalition of systems, and to provide sustainable solutions, we must think systemically. To support this systemic thinking in the healthcare industry, she founded Novaros Care, a consultancy that helps healthcare professionals and organizations with data management, project management, and research solutions. Via this platform, she has supported over 50 distinct clients since its inception.
She also extends this knowledge to helping career professionals navigate a balanced and fulfilled life by applying a unifying care of the body, mind, and soul. She dedicates most of her social media discussions to this cause, where she shares tips to help make life easier and more meaningful as a professional.
In her interest to contribute to social developmental projects, she convened the Life Beyond School career mentoring program for young promising women in Nigeria. She is also affiliated with several NGOs and sits as a board member with Media Health Foundation, where she supports the work of the organization using her multiple skills and talents.
Ifunanya is passionate about providing sustainable solutions for mental health, women’s health and well-being, human capital development, and community building. She loves seeing women excel and break boundaries in their fields, hence you’d commonly see her involved in projects that promote gender equity.
Beyond her regular professional work, she delights in serving as a public speaker or a host/compere for corporate events. Outside work, she enjoys singing and partaking in various outdoor sports, especially volleyball or table tennis.
